If you are on Hwy 99 near 9th street in Modesto please check out the flea market. There are a lot of vendors on Sundays, live music/band, produce, jewelry, agua frescas, food, plants, live stock auction, bathrooms, and treasures. Everyone should check it out and spread the word. Yes, there are others who are trying to make money as they sell their items. It's the bomb!!! Rainforest or shine, hot or cold-bundle up nicely for more walking.
Love the atmosphere as there are all sorts of vendors. Many food and drink variety from agua frescas, tacos, Chinese food, and more. However the Chinese Food truck can be confusing with prices and I think they ultimately decide how much they should charge you solely based on first impressions and looks about you. I think this because my mom would buy me 2 fried chicken legs and it would cost her $8 total. However the next day when I brought 2 fried chicken legs, they charged me $6. Not complaining as it’s tasty but might not be fair to others so make sure to be nice and look happy.
I love coming here with the family, if you like antique vibes, thrift store vibes and snacks and live animal auctions this is the spot 👌
Nice place to shop cheaper to save. Parking is hard to get. But be there early to find one
So much variety. Animals, Plants, Food, Clothing. The outdoor auctioneer is something out of a Hollywood movie. He has a style all his own as if he is almost singing a song as opposed to auctioning off items. Very interesting. Great place to explore.
