Today was a quick stop .passing thru the area. Seems well organized with a great selection of records, tapes and cds Few shirts and oddly enough it smelled fantastic inside. Prices seem standard. It's a 2hr or more trip for me . But will definitely return . It'll be hard to walk out empty handed . I didn't.

This has to be one of the best record shops in the area! The hours make sense, and I really appreciate that the owner is willing to stay open a little longer so I can browse after work. The selection was great when he first opened the store, but it has grown immensely since then! Chris is always fantastic to talk to about music; he's very knowledgeable. Sometimes, I just drop by to chat while digging through the $5 bin. This shop has contributed significantly to the community, and I'm grateful for what Mi-Rural Records has brought to Grand Ledge. Thank you!

What a great place! I have been buying records from Chris and his wife even before this shop opened up. I appreciate his attention to detail when it comes to grading and fair pricing. Fun fact, I have never gotten a record that has not been cleaned in some way from him before. If you are looking for something, chances are he either has one or knows where to get it. I highly recommend visiting MI Rural Records. You won't be disappointed.
