LEGACY

Iconic record store, with a cosy vibe, great staff, and always a well-curated collection. Minus one star for the latest RSD in April 2025. They had no RSD participation and didn’t get any releases in, but still publicised their “curated” collection which was just a good restock of non-RSD records. Felt quite disingenuous to the consumer to jump on the RSD hype without participating, and they can do better in future.

I initially came here for a work shop; but soon discovered how dope this record shop is. The music selection playing in the store & the energy in here was immaculate. Ali was very welcoming, respectful and accommodating. There’s a wide selection of new & vintage vinyl so I will definitely be back to shop. Legacy is great! The shop has a super cool aesthetic with cool album covers on the walls, real dope art and even incense, not to mention the great music playing in the store, which really adds to the vibe. They also have really great used records (which still play nicely) for great prices. Went I went Haile Ali was in the shop and he was super helpful.

Total MCM atmosphere with a very eclectic selection of vinyl. Extremely service animal friendly. It's a definite vibe. The owners are top notch.

Legacy is an experience! The shop is welcoming and feels like home. The atmosphere and ambience is unmatched. The owner and staff are dope. I love record shops where I cam take my time to dig, have conversations with other customers and the staff and legacy gave me all of that. If you are in BK in dumbo stop by to dig and show Legacy some love!
