Cory gave the best experience when I decided to sell my brother's collection. He was extremely professional and knowledgeable and interested in how my brother collected. He made a very hard decision very easy. The transaction was smooth and priced more than fair. Overall a fantastic experience and I highly recommend them if you are looking to seller buy!!

Nothing wrong with this place - I even prefer it to the manhattan locations. Bigger, stocked, but less cramped. Tons of “new arrivals” across many genres at fair prices. Two listening stations. Pretty big selection ton of new and sealed vinyl, as well as an extensive selection of vintage/used stuff. Rock, funk, soul, world, hip-hop. Great stuff for DJ’s too. Some stereo equipment and merch too. No real notes, except maybe they could offer a cash discount like their competitors do.

Amazing record store in Brooklyn. If you love vinyl, this is a must. The place is huge and has a vast selection of many different genres. I've bought great records for 1 or 2 $, and they and in wonderful shape and sound great. I totally recommend this music store if you are crate digging in New York.

Knowing Academy records in east village since turn of century, I like how they kept the accessible price point here in Greenpoint as well. That said, I still question the pricing basis the condition of discs (well, I come from Japan where there’s much higher bar for condition), but some good findings in $1 bins. 8/31/25 post. I’m leaving for Japan tomorrow permanently. Will miss this place!!
