Lovely passion project record shop! Perfectly curated selection and Tom gave me some great local suggestions. I'll be back!

Great record shop and event space run by some solid people. I always pick up something interesting on the record side while I’m there. There’s an attention to shoegaze and quirky sonic offerings of a wide variety that I find particularly appealing. Plus there’s always great conversation as well. Highly recommended!

Kismet Records was a such a pleasant surprise! This little shop packs a punch with a unique selection of music, you will surely find something new or a gem to take home. I scored a SEALED copy of “In Through the Out Door” and a stellar Zeppelin bootleg picture disc! Check out their website and Instagram for updates and new releases. Stop by for the occasional local live show, in-shop record cleaning, or check them at the Heavy Anchor for the Record Collector meet ups! 🔥🤘

A cool store, run by cool people who truly care about music and community. Good prices, great convos, and amazing community events. I can’t recommend this place more!

Owned by an old friend who used to run the art corner at the City Museum, this place is as innovative as it is welcoming. With a great selection of second-hand records, tapes, books and a few movies, interesting local zines, and occasional live music, this is a must-see if you’re visiting Cherokee. A neat little booth boasts some 18+ items as well, with either authentic or knockoff (I can’t exactly remember) Chakrubs. Check it out if you’re a sex-positive, non-binary millennial, or just really cool in general. 🤙🏻
