Walked in off of curbside appeal; walked out very much impressed. Friendly and helpful staff. Smaller but very-well-curated selection of new releases. Don’t come expecting tons of used resales; there are plenty of other area shops that cover that. New music emphasis - which is such a breath of fresh air. With that being said, I will say finding a sealed copy of “Parachutes” by The Pretty Things amongst the stacks of indie gems (Uni Boys shout-out!) made my whole trip. Will certainly return and investigate these “mystery bundles” I’ve been hearing about in these other reviews!
Got my first (yes I will be doing it again) mystery box a couple weeks ago. I’m absolutely thrilled with the albums they picked. They took the time to study my likes and I ended up getting three GREAT albums. Loved the handwritten explanations for each pick as well. Thank you so much Indie Earth! I’m so glad I found you.
Awesome store with a super friendly vibe. My daughter and I were there for the Twenty One Pilots early listening party and the staff was very helpful and pleasant. They answered all our questions and were not at all stressed, even though the store was packed for the party. We are definitely going to go back just to shop!!
i absolutely love this record store!! staff is always friendly, it’s so cute, always stocked with the best finds! 2nd best record store in MN should be #1!! HIGHLY recommend for vinyl collectors & plant lovers
My daughter Frani and I were together for last year's Record Store Day (don't know what happened to the photos; probably her phone lol. That was my 2nd Record Store at Indie Earth, and it was very special to share it with my youngest daughter, at my favorite Record Store. Also, I did get the records I wanted...one of the photos shown- the great Ian Hunter. I'm looking forward to this year's event; unfortunately Frani won't be with me. Of course there's another haul, I'm going for- crossing my fingers. As always, Indie Earth is highly recommended from me, who should know...been buying albums about 52 years; so join Aleah (the owner), and her great staff; support them- Buffalo, Mn is fortunate to have them.
