The outlet itself was fine. Small, but workers were so nice and pretty much constantly replenishing the bins. My only complaint (which is not the stores fault) was a group 8 or so teenage or early twenties dudes who were so pushy, blocking people from looking through the bins when they first put them out, and stank of weed. They made the entire experience awful because they were so pushy and pretty much blocked anyone else out until they had all gone through every piece, then they'd sit on the edges blocking the area to walk through with their multiple carts of stuff.
Went here over holiday break twice with a friend and it was a horrible experience, a bunch of young guys openly smoking weed out front and then harassing us when we’re inside. Me and my girlfriend just wanted to shop and these aggressive guys stinking of weed “the whole store reeked of it btw” wouldn’t stop trying to talk and follow us when we showed zero interest or interaction. Doesn’t seem to be any management or control of the people at this store. Women beware it is not a safe space for you and they allow rampant drug use.
Very small, I’ve been to bigger and better goodwill bins locations. Also, $1.89 per pound isn’t that great of a deal — and they also price non-bin items at $0.59 and higher (some items I saw were a few dollars) , which in my opinion isn’t that great of a bargain as far as it being “last chance”. These are items that did not sell at their origin locations so that’s where my parameter falls in terms of what I consider acceptable pricing to be. They also hardly put new wares out, I went on a Friday then that next Sunday and the wares were mostly the same which is unfortunate because I feel as though they should have a lot more to put out. I got some good stuff but honestly spent more than I think it was worth, I won’t be making the hour long trip out of my way for it very often.
The outlet itself is amazing with friendly staff and good prices. We spent 2 days out in Columbus, GA and the first day was wonderful. Unfortunately the second day was awful because of this group of teenagers in the picture. They ravage every new bin as soon as it hits the floor and will push you out of their way. They are always so close you can smell their BO and weed. If you see this group of kids I would just leave. They seem to spend the whole day doing this.
I love coming here to get some retail therapy. Plan on being here for quite a while and prepare to dig for those treasures! If you don't want to fight the crowds, come about 30 minutes or so AFTER opening. Bring an extra bagin case there are no carts, ALWAYS wear gloves, and possibly wear a mask (dust on objects). The staff here gets yelled at quite frequently due to recent price changes, so be nice to them and they will return the favor. Prices are now $1.89 lb. for ALL goods, heavy items, electronics and stuffed toys included. Everything is now weighed. The books are now 10 for a $1. Happy hunting!
