Very interesting place. Actual vinyl records. Vintage clothes and memorabilia. Fun place to visit. Great staff.
Great selection of country, jazz, rnb, and rock records, cds, tapes. Vintage clothes, smoke supplies, arcade games, and a live performance venue with drums and a piano. Must visit in downtown Columbus!
BRIAN Cook and his partner, plus knowledgeable staff, are great, and this store is full of everything you need musically!! I could spend hours just browsing thru all the vinyl!!
I love this place. Great vibe, awesome customer service, and so many great finds! We left with a lot of goodies.
This shop is like stepping through a portal. Not to another city, but to a better state of mind. The owner? Picture your favorite TV character. The one who’s calm in the storm, who always knows what to say, and who somehow has absurdly good taste in everything from records to vibes. He’s the guy you’d want to narrate your life or at least DJ your next mental breakdown. There’s no wandering around aimlessly here. No existential crisis in the jazz section. Just clarity, good tunes, and really solid recommendations. It’s like vinyl therapy but cooler and smells like records instead of essential oils. And the cat. The cat. It’s the gently torched marshmallow fluff on a warm, rich hot chocolate much like the one Ned Flanders made for Bart in that one episode. (LOOK IT UP!) I walked out that day with a curated bundle of Chicago house vinyls that I didn’t even know I needed but now can’t stop spinning. I meant to write this review months ago, but today, while sitting outside Frank’s Alley eating a hotdog, I heard some sweet tunes wafting from this place and suddenly, I was time traveling. That’s the kind of impact this shop has. Great selection. Incredible energy. Adorable cat. And an owner who actually cares — and knows. 10/10, would time-travel back again.
