Total Hidden Gem for Record Shops in Pittsburgh. I went for the first time to pick up records purchased online and spent a long time digging through this deep collection. It is kinda confusing to find but if you are standing looking at the Johnny Angel museum go around the corner to the right thru the fenced gate to find their door with a sign. Thank you and Stay Hip.

No stars. Extremely poor service. I had a very negative experience with this store. They took my money, and two weeks later tried to sell me a different item, claiming my original choice was out of stock. It took another week to receive a refund—and it was issued in the wrong currency, leaving me out of pocket. Throughout this process, there were no apologies, only repeated empty promises. I found their service lacking courtesy, care, and professionalism.

Good selection of vinyl records, both new and used, also CDs and even some cassettes. Genres of rock, metal and early rock and jazz. Reasonable prices in a studio style space.

I drove from Martinsburg, WV to witness this shop 1st hand as I have not gone real record shopping in over a decade or more. My drive was a casual 3 and a half hour cruise through the no tolls route and intermittent rain all the way but none of that dampened my spirit as I have planned this trip at least 3 times and never committed until now. I had a great experience and the counter man...He was male, was very accommodating..."I must apologize to him for not introducing myself". I found my way to the 7s room and began my hunt...No one bothered me or hovered near and I really appreciated that as I can get a bit anxious and overwhelmed in these places...but...what I loved the most was finding great music that I wasn't looking for. I had no particular artists in mind when I went on this journey and it was a huge release to dig in and really experience unbiased music/band discovery again. I have a lot of tastes and I'm all over the map with my ear tongue...The counter man recognized that and let me be privy to the other stock boxes but I found little of my interest but that's not to say if I go tomorrow that I wouldn't find more. I do plan to return, just not sure when...Thanks for a pleasurable experience with no hassles.

Get Hip or else! This record store is discreetly nestled in an industrial area however that's a good thing because parking is ample and free. They are one of the older and prominent record labels in Pittsburgh stemming from da'Burgh's first punk band The Cynics to arise from the depths of Swissvale. They have been a staple providing support and releases for local musicians and bands. The legendary Slim Forsythe was by their label. Their selection is curated for more in tuned stuff for people into music from the scene or industry. If you think you're up for it, drop by. They also have consistent easy to remember operating hours 10-6 except Sundays. While visiting check out the Bicycle Museum, and if on weekends take a visit at Johnny Angel's music museum too.
