East Grand

Kitchen cabinets were moldy after a leak that was behind the wall. I called DTN atleast once a week they never fixed it so I gave up and lived in a moldy apartment despite my respiratory issues. When originally moving in there was puke in the bathtub, the entire place was disgusting and took 2 full days to clean. Maintenance will come efficiently but they will find a way to blame you for the mistakes DTN made. When there was a leak behind the wall maintenance tried to tell me I didn’t know how to use a sink properly and was spraying water on the floor. Lastly, DTN does not care about student housing and does not care about you. Don’t give this monopolistic company your money!

First time resident here in the fall of 2022 and I love the place and how its such a breeze to get to campus! However I do have one major complaint and its because the property is ran by DTN which is your not familiar is a up an coming monopoly snagging up nearly all properties in East Lansing area. This is annoying in its self because your always dealing with college kids they put you up against for nearly all issues. They send out ledgers for rental payment an then will charge you late fees for it even though it they sent you the ledgers late and your not allowed to pay until you get the ledger? Extremely shady on their end and pretty blatant if you ask me.

I am currently a resident at 300 Grand and I love it! I have lived in 3 other apartments during my college experience and this has been my favorite one. When ever I go in the leasing office I am greeted by friendly staff, who have become to know me by name. Whenever I have a maintenance issue it is address ASAP (which is life saving). Lastly the location of 300 Grand is unbeatable! It’s walking distance from the night life, food, campus, and so much more. All around love this apartment complex and the dtn staff who make living here enjoyable!

If I had a penny for every time the DTN staff was cordial, welcoming and friendly to us, I would have enough money to pay for 3 years of rent here! Their presence is constantly felt, and it is clear that they go out of their way to make resident's lives more comfortable and convenient. Additionally, the luxuries and features these apartments have to offer are unmatched. Unfortunately, our apartment never has any issues, so we don't have more opportunities to interact with the DTN staff. I knew from the moment I signed the dotted line my life was in good hands, and I can only hope more people have the opportunity to have this unrivaled apartment experience.

As a second year resident of 300 Grand Apartments, I have to say that there is no other place in East Lansing I'd rather call home. All of the rooms set the bar for what a 5 star apartment complex should look like (whether it be a collegiate town or not) and the amenities that come along with each apartment are second to none. Most importantly, the staff, resident managers, and all other DTN employees who have helped made my living experience one to never forget, deserve the biggest applause of all! If there ever is a concern I have about my specific apartment, management always communicates with me and fixes the issue/ answers my question within the hour! Located right across from Michigan State University's campus as well as its finest bars and restaurants, 300 Grand is a prime location for students and/or families. I would highly recommend this modern upscale apartment complex to anyone who is lookin for a true home away from home.
