Absolutely terrible customer service. I take my daughter there to buy toys as rewards. We purchased a needoh which is a squishy sensory toy. We got to the car and she asked me to open it right away, it was popped and leaking out a white substance. We went back into the store and the teenage girl working there refused to take it back, and was honestly pretty shockingly rude about it. I asked her to check with a manager who was a lady with orange hair and piercings and she also refused to give us a new item. My young daughter was in tears. We will never go back, and we were previously repeat customers! This store owner should be ashamed of their employee.
This store is the reason I visit Maple Grove. I absolutely LOVE Down In The Valley, as it remains my favorite record store and has been since I was little. It has almost EVERYTHING you want/need and if you can't find it that day; they can order it! The staff is INCREDIBLY friendly and knowledgeable, they are always willing to help. I love that the store is always so clean when stopping by and the tunes are always amazing. (I love that they switch up genre's a lot at this store. They are always playing something for everyone). The head honcho Adam is really great and knows the products insanely well. This is easily the BEST record store in Minnesota and I have never ever seen anything like it.
I've been visiting D.I.V. since I was a kid, both locations. This store has always carried one of the best vintage, pop and rockin roll collections in the Twin cities and they will order whatever you want if they don't have it they are happy to help.
Clean and organized store! Was hoping they had used vinyl but not at this location. I was able to find a new LP and purchased that. Nice selection.
Places and shops come and go. Down In The Valley remains strong in this strip mall. It is a good place for nostalgia. I've found a few treasures here over the years! I like it.
