Cheapo Records Blaine

This place seems to be all business and no polite conversation about music. They won't have it. Maybe it's the same guy but this has happened for the third time in the last few years.

I hadn’t been to a larger record store in years and was looking for albums by a particular group. I didn’t find any but I walked out with six other albums! When I asked the worker about the group I was looking for, he quickly did a search and then offered to order it for me. I declined only because I live an hour away from the store

Cheapo Records in Blaine is great to deal with! They have a wonderful selection of vinyl records and cds, both used and new. In regard to their vinyl records, they are normally spot on with their grading. If f anything, they seem to grade a touch lower than what it sounds like to me. They are more than fair and accurate with grading vinyl. On the rare occasion something was off, they fixed it, The pricing at Cheap Blaine is undeniably fair. Be it CDs or records. I would like to add the staff is very friendly and simply excellent to deal with. Just a bunch of good people who if you are looking for something in particular, they are more than willing to help. Please do not hesitate to check them out as they have a phenomenal selection across a variety of genres of music and a lovely staff.

To those wanting physical media, (Vinyl, CDs, cassettes, DVDs, Blu Ray) Cheapo is the place to go. This location has a reputation for having one of the areas largest metal collection of music. Store is organized by genre and then alphabetically within the genre to make finding something in particular easy. They have a mix of used and new inventory, with new arrivals of CDs grouped by the day they came in. That's a fun area to browse for the "freshest picks." CDs reasonably priced, I'd say the average price is about $6. All used CDs and DVDs I've ever purchased are in excellent, almost like new condition.Staff is friendly and very knowledgeable. Also music related T-shirts, stickers, buttons, coffee mugs, etc. and a massive music and movie poster selection! Awesome place for music related gifts and music media.

I love that there's still a "real" used CD and record shop. Very large selection, Categorized very well. Reasonable prices. An even cute little bit shopping baskets 😁
