CD Source

This place is easy to sight from the road. Retro feel, and a very cool space. It is well stocked & organized too. I was easily able to fine 4 records that matched my taste and budget. We also got a set of vintage speakers to complete our record cabinet. We are excited to hear how they sound. The staff was friendly enough. I feel like there was a large selection of used equiptment, vinyl, and CDs. We were happy with our first visit & will return due to easy shopping and fair pricing.

CD Source is my favorite new store since moving to Rockford. They have a killer collection of vinyl, CDs, and stereo equipment. While looking through the CDs I found a copy of the Lucky Boys Confusion album "The Soapbox Spectacle" for $4.99. This is a total score and a great addition to my collection. I can't wait to go back and find another juicy album to jam out to. I HIGHLY recommend CD Source.

Really a great place. If you’re looking for CDs, say no more. Owners are awesome and love to have fun at work and joke around with customers. They have a nice selection of vintage stereo equipment as well, and some great used vinyls. Sad that their old location burned down but I’m happy they bounced back and knew what they had to do. Community staple for the music hounds in the area, and it’s usually fairly busy. I have a strange tradition here of always buying a jazz album and a death metal album every time I go here.lol. I’m sure I seem strange, but it’s a music store, these guys have seen strange! 😂

Awesome place. The vibe here is amazing. If you love music, any era, any format... this is the spot.
