Caydence Records & Coffee

This might be the cutest shop in St. Paul. I absolutely love the vibes at Caydence. It’s part record store and part coffee shop, and both sides are done so well. The record selection is amazing with a great mix of new and used records, plus a super fun section of $2 records where you can fill a bag and find some real gems. The coffee is excellent. The breakfast sandwich is house made and prepared fresh for you, and everything we tried was delicious. The caramel brulee latte is truly something special. It has a full cap of caramelized sugar on top and is honestly exquisite. Service is outstanding. Friendly faces, quick service, and such a welcoming, comfortable atmosphere. There are lots of seating options and plenty of natural light, making it a great place to hang out, relax, work a bit, or browse records. Overall just a fun, feel-good spot that combines great coffee, great music, and great people. One of those places you leave already planning to come back.

As a breakfast sandwich afficionado, I'm always excited to try small new places Caydence DID NOT DISAPPOINT! While waiting for my wife to have a same day surgery procedure nearby, I buzzed over to this corner shop on Payne. Simply amazing and the garlic confit spread was one of those specialty dips/sauces/spreads that takes a meal over the top. Can I get the recipe? 😉 I'll make it a point to stop anytime I need breakfast while in St. Paul on the "East Side!" Coffee was alao ON POINT! Keep up the good work!

Excellent food, delicious coffee, absolutely amazing vibe and a wide and expansive selection of vinyl albums. Every genre, every kind, new, used, current, very old. I purchased a vintage album from the 50's because it reminded me of my grandpa, and the employees were friendly and made conversation. Everything about the place was top notch. Highly, HIGHLY recommended. Best place I visited while in St. Paul.

Talk about a great place! Coffee shop with vinyl, perfection! Staff is incredibly friendly and the whole vibe is on point! Definitely recommend!

Caydence is a really nice spot for coffee in the Twin Cities! Their atmosphere is excellent—super cool and hip but also very approachable—and I love that they also sell records. They have a nice little selection of vinyls, and their merch is also super fun and well-designed. On my visit I tried the “Polyphia” which I thought was pretty tasty and had an excellent balance of flavor. I am always looking for that right ratio of flavor in my latte so that it's fully present but not too overpowering or sweet, and I think this drink definitely achieved that. I also found the staff to be nice and friendly. When they realized they had initially made me the wrong size of drink (10oz instead of 16oz), they immediately remade me the correct size and were very kind and helpful. Overall, Caydence is a great coffeehouse and I'll definitely be back to try their other flavored drinks and peruse their records. I definitely recommend checking it out if you're in the area!
