One of my favorite places to go. Great atmosphere and amazing people. Huge selection of records and wonderful community involvement. Also the iced coffee is delicious and always changing with seasonal flavors!

Black Dog Vinyl Cafe is one of my favorite places to hang out and I got there several times a month. The combination of live music and a warm, community-oriented vibe makes it truly special. It's not just about the music, though; the cafe feels like a hub for bringing people together. I appreciate how they support local musicians, giving them a platform to shine, especially with their multiple open mics. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, and it's easy to lose track of time while enjoying the tunes and browsing through vinyl records. The staff are always helpful and add to the overall positive experience. I highly recommend it!

Black Dog Vinyl Cafe is easily one of the more unique places in the area. Their coffee menu is creative and has some unique elements making it worth checking out. The selection of records there for sale seems to have been curated in such a way that it should appeal to those who love to hunt down some cool wax. In the daytime, the place is very chill & relaxing, making it great to go in and get some work done remotely if you're able. With an alcohol menu & live music, this is bar none a really cool establishment.

Great coffee, Illinois craft beer and food. Nice location and very friendly staff. Mike and Cathy are great hosts! They now carry Kombuchade Kombucha which is locally brewed.
