Black Circle Records

Sold my small collection of classic rock vinyl albums today to Black Circle. Met Tim (owner), awesome guy, super friendly and knowledgeable! My wife and I spent an hour just talking to him afterwards. An enjoyable time! Would recommend Black Circle to anyone in the Lake Geneva area.

Great prices and fun selection - it’s a small local shop. You can find some used vinyl for $8 and some new options for more. The shop owner is really knowledgeable and kind; great experience overall.

Let’s be honest it’s a very small store with very little vinyls. My first impression was this is all the owners records he is trying to sale. It wasn’t enough to try and own a store for. I walked in and turned around and walked right back out. It was just too small of a place to feel comfortable browsing at what he did have. Sorry this place will be closed very soon. I would imagine he is making very little to no sales. Not trying to be rude, just being honest so people will not waste their time. There isn’t any reason to visit. The prices are too high and anything he has is available for cheaper online. I didn’t see anything new it was all old used and a bit pricey.

If you’re a music person at all, this is a must stop on your trip to Lake Geneva! The owner was extremely friendly and has built such a fun, groovy environment. You can tell he’s passionate about music and wants to share that with other like minded music junkies. The shop also offered a wide range amongst its selection. Would most definitely recommend stopping in and saying hello!

A must stop when we come to town! Tim is always incredibly friendly! He loves to to talk music, has a great selection, and fair prices. That, with the cool vibe, makes Black Circle one of our favorite record stores!
