Acme Records

My partner and I love Acme records! They have such a unique and expansive collection of records and CDs, with both obscure and rare items as well as newer finds. The owner is so nice, and Gertie, his dog, will always greet you with love. They also do live performances sometimes. A Milwaukee staple!

Acme records makes me happy, great prices on vinyl and cassettes. they throw occasional shows there which always inspire me immensely. they have Ä friendly and knowledgeable staff. On my Top 10 record stores of all time list!

Got some Spare time & a Love of Vinyl, Put Acme Records on your 2 Do List. Stopped in to get CD’s at this time. Couldn’t find CD’s back in RI. Tired & Annoyed trying to find Music on FM Radio for the last 1,400 driving miles. Ken ? (So bad with names) hooked up on a dozen or so CD’s for $70.00. Cash is King. Not Donald, although he does control Fair Share of $$$. Had to go back to take Pics, went back to talk to Ken, so along with a few other Patrons discussed music including Newberry Comics and days before CD’s, economics, state of The States of USA. Step inside listening to some awesome tunes And Them. Browse the Vinyls, converse with Ken, or spend the earlier Discount on a Long Sleeve T with ACME RECORDS, etc.. printed on. Kool

Acme Records delivers where it counts: a strong, well-curated selection and fair prices that don’t make you second-guess a purchase. I walked out with a few real gems, including some harder-to-find titles that made the trip more than worth it. That said, the organization leaves a bit to be desired. Bins were loosely grouped, but without clear alphabetical placards or much structure, finding specific artists took some patience. Definitely more of a digger’s paradise than a quick-stop shop. Staff was friendly and easygoing—no pressure, just a good vibe all around.

This place ROCKS!! Such a great selection of used and new albums. They also have CDs 💿 as well. The bargain vault, all though it maybe a tad cold in there is a hidden gem!! Found so many great albums for 5 for $20. All in great shape too. Fun to look at all the great oldies but goodies. All genres through out the store. And can't go wrong with the greeting from the awesome shop dog. 🐕 She is so sweet. Will continue to shop here.
