Yesterday and Today Records

A true gem of a record store in the Miami area. Evan, the owner, is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, which made my visit especially enjoyable. The shop specializes in psychedelic and garage rock, which is very cool and gives it a strong, curated identity. Pricing is a bit higher than other stores in the area, but that’s understandable given the amount of rare and hard-to-find titles they carry. This is absolutely the place to visit if you’re hunting for 1950s–70s rock. Just note that it’s not the spot for new vinyl releases or 80s-era records.

first time visiting and I found a lot of GEMS! the owner of the store was lovely and gave me a lot of tips and recommendations to take care of my records.

Just left Yesterday&Today Records and am so happy my fiance and I made the drive here. Coming from SF and being used to Amoeba, this store was just as cool. Could spend hours in here. We will definitely be back. Bob was also super kind and knowledgeable about a ton of genres. 10/10 recommend!!

I’ve been coming here for over 20 years. Unless my visit gets cut short due to some emergency (like today), I never leave here without finding something. Yes, it’s a “small” place, and yes you have to dig. But, (1) so what - it makes up for it in quality, and (2) digging is fun. It’s a blessing that places like this are still around. I’m and old enough fella to remember when there once a lot more of them. But I will always cherish those we still have, particularly when they are as good as this place and have such a friendly, knowledgeable owner. Don’t miss this place if you’re anywhere near the area or are at all interested in records/music.
