I go out of my way to drive to this store rather than an easier walk to Village Vinyl, that’s all I’ll say… much love to the crew at Wanna Hear It 🫶🏼 truly my “local” store

Opened during COVID and quickly became a favorite. Focus is on punk, hardcore, metal, and indie rock - basically my wheelhouse. Owner Joey Cahill also runs 6131 Records and he knows what’s up. Great selection of new releases and used vinyl. They also sell merch from indie brands. Prices are fair and the vibe is welcoming. Worth the trip to Watertown.

Best record shop I’ve ever been to. I travel from the Southshore 2-3x a year just to go here sell a few records and buy more. Kind owner and staff. Tons of great punk and hardcore records. Basically everything you could be looking for.

I'd definitely like to hear more. One of the recommended record stores in the Boston area. They have a big heart with the ability to recommend other stores in the area, a big plus sign to me! What made this place special was featuring Julien Baker's debut album. Amazing vibes, attracts musicians and music lovers alike.
