I have used VNYL for the last several months and absolutely adored it. The price is more than reasonable especially considering the payout. You get what you pay for, and then some! If you’re someone who enjoys finding new music, you won’t be disappointed by this subscription. This is the perfect way to grow a record collection and find new artists to love, all while saving money on some beautiful vinyls! It’s so convenient to have records curated for you and sent right to your door. This month, I decided to pause my subscription, to save money. But trust me, I didn’t want to! What really shines about how great this company is, is that even after choosing to stop purchasing their service, I was STILL impressed. A VNYL team member reached out to me and made sure that I received credit for the vibes (monthly records) that I missed. I highly recommend VNYL to anyone looking to expand their music library. The concept is outstanding and the prices are unbeatable. Thank you, VNYL!

Finally decided to take the vinyl plunge recently, and did a fair amount of research on subscription services. I ended up choosing VNYL because it seemed to serve a good balance between the two things I wanted: growing a fledgling record collection with new and old standards, while also introducing music not already on my radar. Speaking as an old guy, it's hard to spend as much time and effort seeking out new music as I used to. The curators at VNYL have sent me a great mix of stuff I like, and stuff that takes me out of my comfort zone. I've been on the triple-triple, so I'm getting 36 records per year, at around $11 a pop. I don't think you'll find a better deal out there. Highly recommend it. Special Note: I've noticed some negative reviews, here, that express some displeasure about what the curators have chosen for them. To these people, I'd say that you're not trying hard enough. (...or you're just generally disagreeable). Part of seeking out new music is hitting on some duds. I certainly haven't love everything I've gotten, but VNYL's batting average is pretty damn good for somebody who only knows my musical tastes by what I've told them. The naysayers are obviously not old enough to remember a time before music streaming services (or even digital music in general) when you had to just buy it and hope for the best. If you're that enraged about not loving everything you get, stick with your streaming service that doles out just pennies to the artists that make the music.

I'm super meticulous with the music I like, I like what I like and I don't vibe at all with the stuff I don't like. I was hesitant to trust strangers to send me vinyl that would suit my music fancy, but this was a huge success. Not only did I get a mini collection of new artists I now love, but the care of everyone involved is prominent. I got a little postcard talking about the selection and when I needed to temporarily pause my membership to save some money, Vnyl was amazing at helping me through the process. The care that these people have for music and for the community of people who want to try new things is palpable and refreshing. I'm a radio DJ so on top of everything, this helps me circulate new things to play on radio. 10/10 would 100% recommend, it's worth it.

So to be completely honest, I am not a very picky person when it comes to music. I have really wild and varied tastes. My main concern when I originally signed up with VNYL was that I would get things that I wouldn't enjoy, like Ed Sheeran or something like that. They've completely blown me away in the four months that I've been a member. The first set of records came with the one Gorillaz album I didn't own (Plastic Beach) and two albums by indie artists I didn't know but ended up loving. The second came with a mix of hip hop and indie rock. Next was some punk, jazz, and a girl group that I had never heard of before. It's like the people at VNYL snuck into my apartment and dug through my records to find things that complimented everything without duplicating what I was listening to. I initially had some hesitation but I assure you the $40 you spend on records with them is well worth the cost provided you give them content (like your spotify playlists) to work with. I'm so incredibly impressed with the suggestions I get from them on a month to month basis.

Horrible horrible service. Told them several times stuff that I love and hate and they literally sent me stuff off of the “do not send me” list. I was bold and obvious about what I didn’t like and they took the money and ran. The music they sent me was all d list artists and stuff I said I didn’t want except for 1 record over three months. This company didn’t want to hear a thing I had to say or even reply to my reviews or comments on social media. They simply swept it under the rug and deleted comments. I would give 0 stars but then I couldn’t leave this review.
