Vinyl Cup Records - Cedar Falls

We've got a couple record shops in town, but I gotta say, this one reigns supreme. I'm in there quite a bit cruising the bins finding the cool stuff. My favorite part about the place is that they can mostly order whatever you're looking for that isn't in their bins. As long as their distributor can get ahold of it, they can get it for you. Great way to support local. Side bonus is the used CD/45 shop next door. Must visit for physical media collectors! 10/10 for us!

Had a great experience coming in on a Monday afternoon. Luke, the owner, was there and immediately offered me a drink, then super helpful in showing me the organization of the used new arrivals along with swapping some stories. Great vibe, great atmosphere, great selection and prices are in the fair to great range depending what you’re looking for. Nothing feels like you’re getting ripped off. I’ve been to record stores all over the country and Vinyl Cup was a top notch experience. Absolutely will be going back whenever I’m back in town.

I love the vibe the person that is there so nice and she knows her music been there twice and my wife and I have to hold each other accountable because so much nostalgia pick up some really good music

My husband was just in this shop for the first time earlier this week and had mentioned he was looking for a specific album for me. I came in for the first time today, and when I gave my husband's phone number while she was ringing me up, she immediately remembered who he was, what he bought, AND the album that he was looking for. She remembered seeing it after he had stopped in and went straight to finding it for me. Simply amazing. Found a new happy place in the Cedar Valley. 🥰

Great record shop and great help! I was in town for a wedding for a couple of days and decided to walk down to the Vinyl Cup. I walked in and was warmly greeted. Everything was very well organized, and taken care of. I was told that it was the second to the last day that they will be doing business at this location. They are moving to Rey’s Records in the next few days. Make sure to go check them out as they have a phenomenal selection and staff that is ready to answer any of your questions! I highly recommend!
