Legendary independent record store. A staple of Phoenix's music culture. It really hasn't changed much since Don and Dennis owned it. Glad the last couple owners kept the vibe intact. In fact, when Dennis' wife took over, it looked better than it had in a long time. A woman's touch, I guess. I've yet to visit since the new owner bought it, but i understand it's looking better than ever. Plan to stop by soon.
Very neat place. Sells not just vinyl but also instruments and clothes and much more to see and choose from. Mainly came here because they had vinyls for bands most places didn't have. My son was very satisfied with this shopping trip
Neat hole-in-the-wall records shop jam packed with records to the brim. Lot of old records, good quality it looked like, lot of new and old as well - looks like the owner keeps the stock fresh (or tries to). I talked with him for a moment or two, Tim, I think his name was, very friendly. I asked if he had any Testament records, he did not, that's okay, but he knew his stock right off the bat. It's not a giant place, very small, but it has a very local feel and while I'm a young looking guy, it takes you back to a different era walking in there. There were tons of signed records and other related music memorabilia as well all along the top of the walls and even in the stock itself I saw some signed records which is pretty neat. Worth checking out!
I discovered this shop about a year ago when I started collecting Taylor Swift vinyls. I used to pass by it every day on my commute but had never gone in—until the owner posted some records I was looking for on Facebook. He was super responsive and helpful, so I decided to stop by in person. I was instantly blown away! The store is incredibly cool with a huge, well-organized vinyl selection. The owner is friendly, knowledgeable, and always willing to help. My husband, a big classic rock fan, recently got into vinyl collecting too. On a recent visit, we picked up Physical Graffiti for him, and he was just as impressed with the shop as I was. This year was my first time participating in Record Store Day, and the owner was amazing—answering all my questions and even following up to let me know he got Taylor’s Fortnight 7-inch RSD vinyl in stock, which he knew I was hoping for. This place has officially become our go-to record shop. Highly recommend to any music lover—thank you again!
Fantastic old school record store. Feels like a cozy carpeted den. Love the posters on the ceiling and the staff were super friendly and enthusiastic about music. Found some MC5 and King Crimson without much effort. Barely scratched the surface of this place in the half hour I spent there. Cant wait to go back
