So incredibly nice and helpful. I went to get an old flute repair. Found out it was really too old to get repaired. I had suspected that would be true. But the very unexpectedly, he helped me to make it work to get a new one. It was more from kindness and encouragement from the men I worked with and my husband was with me. The whole experience was a real joy.

Title: Exceptional Service at Tim’s Music! I had an unexpected issue with my chromatic harmonica right before an important practice session, and after calling around everywhere, Tim’s Music was the only shop willing to help. Natalie, the Service Coordinator, went out of her way to arrange for a technician to take a look at it—even though they don’t normally repair harmonicas. Taylor, the repair technician, examined it right away, found debris inside, and returned it playing better than ever. Scott, the owner, even came out personally to make sure everything was just right. They didn’t charge me a dime and made me feel truly cared for. This level of kindness and professionalism is rare. Tim’s Music has earned a very loyal customer. Thank you!

My parents bought me a used trumpet when I was 12. My son also played this trumpet in school. After a long away from playing, I recently started playing again. I noticed that my trumpet had a significant crease in the bell I also noticed the first valve trigger wasn’t sliding easily, Then I noticed that the back of the bell (the curved part nearest the player) had taken a hit, and was bent to the player’s right. This also impacted the first valve slide. I didn’t realize until recently that my parents had bought me a professional level horn: a 1969 King Flair. I took the trumpet to Tim’s. They recommended and ultrasonic cleaning and valve porting, as well as the dent repair work. Even though it was their busy back-to-school season, they promised to have the repairs done in a month. (When I dropped my trumpet off, they said they had over 2000 instruments from local schools in need of attention.) My trumpet turned out great. They took care of the major issues, and removed most of the dents. The first valve trigger slide now works smoothly. The horn was ready a couple days before the promised day, and the cost matched the estimate to the penny. I’m very pleased with the work Tim’s performed on my trumpet. This is the first time I’ve seen it virtually dent-free. Nice folks, and an extensive repair shop. I won’t hesitate to bring my horns here in the future. The photos with the white background show the damage before the repair. The photos with the black background show the trumpet after it was repaired.

Best experience I've ever had entering a store for the first time. Came in wanting to rent a saxophone, left 30 minutes later with one. Thomas and Leslie were incredibly charming and helpful and made it a frictionless process.

The employee who helped us was so kind, and when my daughter showed interest in an instrument he immediately came over to show her how to play it. Highly recommend!
