I've only been in the tangerine tree once and it was an exciting adventure, very neat organized place, very polite staff. best business I've walked into in Aberdeen by far. I highly recommend a visit. it's a see it to believe it kinda deal.
I visited The Tangerine Tree for the listening party of Twenty One Pilots’ new album Breach, and I must say—it was a wonderful experience. From the friendly people to the amazing staff, everything made me feel welcome. I left feeling fulfilled and genuinely happy. Thank you so much for creating such a special atmosphere. Much love from Romania! :)
We stopped by The Tangerine Tree, today. It is nestled in the back of an antique mall. We got a great haul of records to add to our collection! The owner was so kind, and when I was telling him just how big of fans our kids were of Twenty One Pilots, he gave them both some spare Clancy listening event posters he had on hand. He made their day. Especially our daughter her is only slightly obsessed. 🤣 We discovered this shop when looking up places that will be hosting listening parties for the Twenty One Pilots Breach album, actually. We will definitely be back for that event, but also to peruse albums and continue to add to our home collection.
The owner went way out of his way, he even drove home to get his last nirvana record for my daughter! We figured Aberdeen, on the muddy banks of the Wishkah, would be the most appropriate place to buy this record. The Tangerine Tree was great!
Nice mix of spaces filled with vintage knickknacks, antiques, and unique finds. The highlight of my stop was the space in the back corner that was filled with vinyl records, SubPop titles and music related merchandise. The lady at the front desk was nice and gave me an extra 5 minutes at the end of their day to look through the last 2-3 bins of records.
