THIS PLACE IS A MUST IF YOU LOVE MUSIC & HIGH GRADE USED VINYL!!! I've visited Squatch Den since I moved to NY's Southern Tier (Greater Corning) in Spring 2024. They were in a smaller location in the Arnot Mall. Aaron and Ash are forever welcoming, warm and eager to make sure everyone walks away happy. Plus they come up with great live events all the time. I've found LPs and 45s here I wouldn't find anywhere else (and I've lived lots of places, incl. L.A. in the Tower days): Leonard Cohen, Frank Zappa, '80s new wave, big band, Cleo Lane ... the list goes on. I walk out with at least 12 amazing titles every visit. (Ash usually offers me a box to make life easier!) They have lots of 45s, comic books, essential reading -- I bought KISS frontman Paul Stanley's autobiography there! -- plus posters, collectibles and much more. There's always something new going on and to see at The Squatch Den. Be sure to visit and tell 'em I said hi!

Best record store I’ve been to, hands down. Absolutely love this place! You can tell right away it’s a true labor of love. The selection is amazing, whether you’re digging for classics or hunting for something new, and everything is well cared for and fairly priced. I picked up two records, Thy Kingdom Come by $uicideboy$ and Breach by Twenty One Pilots, and the staff were incredibly knowledgeable and genuinely passionate about music, which made the whole experience even better. They even threw in a free bracelet with my Twenty One Pilots record, which was such a thoughtful touch. This is the kind of local record shop that deserves all the support. I’ll definitely be back!

One of best stores at the mall and a wonderful third space to have in a rural area. I love going to the release parties the store puts on, listening to new albums with my friends and often getting a free poster/sticker just for attending! When I've made purchases the customer service has been great (even though I can be socially awkward). In the rare circumstances that I can't find what I'm looking for, the store owners have gone above-and-beyond to quickly get those items in stock at a fair price. Squatch Den has a small business charm with owners who obviously appreciate their customers and community.

Squatch Den is hands down one of the best locally owned record stores in the area! The owners are such incredible people and will help you wherever necessary. Need an album not anywhere in store? They'll order it for you. Their selection is so large from the most popular albums on the charts to some more niche bands- Even local bands! You can spend HOURS here looking through the records. Not to mention they also sell DVDs, CDs, Clothing, Comics, And many other things like pins and patches! They host listening parties every so often and are the only local location to do so. They also do trade ins! I always try and look through the trade in section to see if there's anything new I'd like. But its a good way to get rid of some records and make room for some new ones you want! The owners are always posting new things they get in on their socials, I suggest following to see! They always get such cool and interesting items. Sometimes if they havent put out these new items yet you can ask them about it and they may let you have it! This happened to me when I saw some patches on their instagram story which hadn't been put out yet. They let me dig through them and get the ones I wanted! Such an amazing store I don't think any others can compete.❤️❤️❤️

This is my go to record store now, and will probably be ordering online through them after moving tbh. Their selection of records is honestly more diverse and comprehensive than most of the record stores I've been into. If they don't have something in stock, they'll absolutely order it for you as well. pricing is great, atmosphere is incredible, and the owners are bringing back the local music scene with a lot of awesome shows. If there's a record store deserving of 5 stars, it's absolutely squach den.
