I love shopping at this store. There is something for everyone who is into pop culture. The employees are very helpful and seem to enjoy working together to give customers a fun and knowledgeable shopping experience. Be sure to stop in and get something cool!
Great service and excellent selection. So many records and CDs to choose from for everyone into music. Tons of great games to pick from too. My only complaint is how different some of the pricing is across consoles. Why is Diablo 4 $20 for Xbox but $45 for PS4? Why is No man's sky $15 on Xbox but $40 on the Switch? Can't seem to understand why the prices are so different. Otherwise great place to shop for old media.
I stopped by this store after my daughter told me she and her husband bought a record player and it was a great experience! I loved looking through all of the records and going back in time! The staff were all very friendly and helpful if I had any questions and while I was checking out the cashier even went as far as to put the albums in new plastic sleeves so that the prices wouldn't be showing as they were early Christmas gifts. Kudos to great customer service!!
Love this store!! They’ve got such a huge selection and the staff is so nice. Katie the manager helped me figure out what kind of DS I have and helped me find games that would work with the one I have. They were also very helpful about helping me find replacements if there were any issues with the games I got :) 10/10
Edit: Avoid this particular location like the plague. The "manager" is young with past gamestop experience. I can tell by the way she carelessly tears my discs from the cases at the register for no good reason. The discs are checked before being stocked and again by myself at the case. This carelessness causes the inside rings to begin cracking. Nothing like carelessly causing damage to a sold product that isn't yours. Also by the way she destroyed my cover art over a gamestop sticker was another giveaway. The "manager" has also been unwilling to budge on titles they've overpriced on numerous occasions. My last straw was an abused copy of Silent Hill HD collection they laid out for $45. This game is selling consistently for no more than $30. Yet the manager (mad she had to replace DMC HD Collection) tells me the titles selling consistently at $50 and she'll be "staying firm" on the price. I laughed and walked out. As proof she's not only grudgingly denied price changes, but is also a liar, I've ordered the title brand new for under $40. I won't be returning to this particular Exchange due to the "managements" inability to come within reasonable pricing on multiple different titles. Also due to the managers carelessness when handling my products at the register. I have asked at least 2 other Exchanges for price corrections which I was not denied. I also receive much better service. This is how you earn a customer for life, rather than losing them. Luckily for The Exchange you can go right to the register and order titles from other locations. While this absolutely ruins the nostalgia of title hunting I prefer the better service and pricing at my local Exchange. Original: I love The Exchange and have been going here for quite some time. I'm currently collecting some Xbox360 titles before they become harder/more expensive to obtain. However, today after picking out 2 gems in perfect condition I had a bad experience. After paying for the games the cashier proceeded to go behind the dust cover and pick off a $12.99 GameStop sticker causing significant damage. In the process the what was perfect cover art was shoved into the recess of the case crinkling and even perforating the cover. I hate to be that guy but had the art, book and disc not been in perfect condition I wouldn't have bothered. Now I'm waiting for a "replacement" to be delivered as it was the only copy at their location. Hopefully the cover art will be in just as nice of condition or I will be returning the game. Moral: Make modifications before you sell the game, not after. Consider the irreplaceability of the retro products and be much more careful. Take the time to do it right or not at all.
