Very cute store. Seems primarily geared towards quilting but they have a nice yarn selection and the prettiest knitting needles I have seen. They also carry crochet hooks and woobles for the casual enjoyer. Their fabric selection is so impressive and they have a great selection of colored threads for hand quilting.

While wandering around State Street on recent visit to SB, we happened upon The Crafter's Library and wow, what an amazing addition to downtown SB! It's billed as a co-working craft space, but it's soooo much more. The space is bright & beautiful, creatively laid out and so much fun to explore. We ended up finding so many cool crafty gifts for our grandkids. I only wish I lived closer to take classes here!

This store has a large dog which just barked aggressively and approached my child as they entered the store. The owner didn’t apologise or come to comfort my daughter who left the store in tears. Rude , unprofessional and unsafe. I’m all for dogs in stores but dogs like that need to be on a leash near the counter. We will never enter this store again and encourage others with children to stay away. The owner clearly hasn’t learnt given this appears to be the third incident with their dog mentioned in these reviews.

In a sea of taco bars, pizza joints, nightclubs and pool halls. Crafters Library is a welcome addition to our little community, reminding us all that we need to put down our phones and use our hands a little more to enrich our lives and giving parents an opportunity to bond with their children through craft, art and other activities. The owner is incredibly passionate about his shop and his customers, and I highly recommend that if you have not been here to check it out that you do so. PS. His puppy, Achilles is so friendly with everyone including small children.

What a perfect community space. The art of zen doodling class was a great way to unwind with friends after work. The photos attached are examples of techniques we learned. The owner's sweet pup hung out by our feet and we all thoroughly enjoyed giving him skritches. Such a calm, easy-going, friendly dog. I'm looking forward to more classes and workshops!!
