Employees are not willing to walk anywhere in the store to help identify what kind of inventory they have. Called to see if they have superman t-shirts and was told "I have no idea, there are so many clothes." If they are too busy to look that would be nice to know, maybe take my information, check, call me back. I have to buy shirts for 60 people, anything that has superman for 23 kids and about 40 adults could have been sold and would have helped me out. I wanted to support a small business but now I confirmed Kohls has enough for about half and target has them too.

My only complaint about this place: Finding it! They have a sign on Fairway near Home Depot, and I have driven around that shopping mall looking for it. I didn't realize it was all the way past Goodwill next to Turner's Outdoorsman. Today I finally found it, and OH WOW was I in for a HUGE surprise! I've never been in a place like this before. It is HUGE! I've been to ComiCons that were smaller than this place. It has an amazing mixture of classic and collectable media, toys, decor, and clothing. Unlike other collectables stores I've been to, they're not a consignment store but rather buy collections and items that are brought to them. As a result there is an eclectic mix of stuff throughout the store, and you could spend hours hunting through all of it. As with all collectables, prices and condition varies. Some things were probably overpriced, but I found some items I thought were reasonable and bought one item for $8 that I saw sell recently on eBay for $32, so there are deals to be had if you hunt. I talked to one of the store employees, and she said they get new stuff every day. It was just incredible to walk through such a large shop full of all sorts of cool stuff, and now that I know where to find it I will definitely go back!

Poor customer service. Regarding the 9200 Fairway Dr #140, Roseville location, have tried upon multiple occasions to sell a box full of stuff that I'm honestly just trying to get rid of. The first time there was zero communication between employees, on the phone I was told they'd be able to go through the box and give me an estimate, then I was told by a separate employee there that I would have to leave the box for "about an hour" returned an hour later, unable to find anyone where I left it and had to go up to the front in which they said they wouldn't be able to get to it that day. After a few months I decided I'd try again and when I walked in with the box to that side, was greeted with a "not accepting, sorry, thank you" note on the desk and was simply stared at by the employees who when I tried to get there attention, this is just my opinion, but it seemed like they tried to do a *look busy* act, so I simply left. All location are very cool and well kept, but I have simply not had any positive experiences with staff.

huuuge selection of items from collectibles, clothing, physical media, and more. it seems like most of the lower reviews come from folk interested in high-priced collectibles. i’m not a collector or anything like that, so i can’t speak on the prices/quality of their more expensive/rare items, but as a broke alternative college kid i can tell you that their records/CDs/DVDs and clothing are all at great prices. if you’re a casual shopper like me, you’ll like this place. most of my coolest clothing pieces (and best deals) were from this store. saw another review saying their CDs weren’t organized — well, good news! they definitely are now, both alphabetically and by genre. i love that they’ve got a designated punk section so i don’t have to rifle through all the other genres for the good stuff. the staff are all kind every time i’m there (and i might be a little biased, but their store playlist is pretty awesome too). they leave me be, which i appreciate, but they’re happy to help as soon as i ask. if you’re local, this place is definitely worth checking out. it can get a bit busy in the day, so i like going in the evenings once it slows down. i haven’t sold or traded anything to them myself, but i think it’s really cool that they offer it. whether you’re young or old, they’ve got something for just about everybody.

there are plenty of good finds if you are able to find an employee willing to help you, and if they didn’t ruin the item with their price tag. charging $250 for a vintage action figure that’s now damaged from the price sticker is crazy. definitely one of the weakest links of all the cave stores.
