Sundial Books

Very cute 2-story bookstore! It has a very relaxing place to sit upstairs. They also have some of the cards, bookmarks, and magnets from highly renowned photographers whom are highly involved with the ponies throughout the year!

I enjoy visiting independent bookstores when I travel. Sundial Books had a good mixture of mainstream options, as well as a lovely more-curated selection. I did not spend time looking through their used inventory, but I appreciate the offering. They also had records and CDs for sale. I will be sure to visit if and when I’m back in Chincoteague!

We love bookstores. So we never skip a chance to visit a new one. This one is 2 floors with books in every corner. It's so dreamy and the staff was really nice. My teenager got a new book and we picked a science text for my 5 year old who is homeschooled. Great selections to choose from.

Such a fun place to explore with great prices! Got three used books for under $30!

We were so happy to stumble across this local bookstore! We first walked in just as they were about to close but the owners were so nice and were willing to give us a few minutes to look around. Of course, we chose not to as we wanted to be respectful of their hours but because of their kindness (and their selection), we absolutely returned the next day! Such a huge collection of used and new books across multiple genres in this two-level space. They also had art from local artists on display and available for purchase. We spent quite a while just browsing and enjoying the vibes! If you plan on visiting, be prepared to stay awhile.
