Had the absolute pleasure of visiting this tucked-away record store in Nags Head. This place is nothing short of comforting, honest, and human. The love, sweat, and tears that have been spent to make this place come alive shine throughout the four walls. Whether you’re looking for a wonderful selection of physical media, loose leaf teas, cute trinkets, or pleasant conversation, you’ll definitely find it here. Although I couldn’t buy anything unfortunately, I definitely left with the goal to come back and with my better half. I also left with living tangible proof that dreams can happen and you can make it completely YOUR WAY. Thank you for allowing this place to exist and for allowing every person that comes through your doors experience your hobbies and passions. P.S. Record Store & Bakery coming to a city near you.
Today was my first time visiting the store, and also my first RSD. Such a fun morning. The owners are so kind and accommodating. I was so excited to find the main record I was searching for, plus a few other surprises. The whole experience was well worth the two hour drive and waiting in the cold for a few hours. I look forward to visiting again and to check out the tea shop as well 🙂
Decent selection of records for the location. Being in a ‘vacation town’ can be hard for record stores when there would rarely be anyone trying to sell records. A quarter new, 3 quarters used records. The new records were recognizable but over priced in my opinion. I found one record I knew and wanted from the new section and thought I’d buy a sticker of the store name as well, except the stickers are $3. Overall not a bad experience. It’s a shame it’s the only decently sized record store in the area.
Located in the Kitty Hawk Kites Complex across from Jockeys Ridge in Nags Head. Lps, 45s, cassettes, CDs and fun stuff! Inside the same room loose teas, treats and more of that too. We bought some CDs for the ride home and some loose teas to relax with friends and share our trip to Nags Head.
Great OBX vinyl destination. Bigfoot is keeping watch by the first floor. The shop is on the second floor. Ramps go all the way up if you are on wheels. Hang gliding is across the street. Fudge next door. All of your beach supplies underneath. The store is an oasis up top with a spot of tea. Abbi and Jordan know their vinyl and suggested some newer groups to me. When they are spinning good stuff in the store, they have good stuff in the racks. Great prices on everything. If you are coastal, you gotta go. They were even open today during a tropical storm, flooding, mayhem and such.
