Very quaint and friendly coffee, vinyls, books shop in downtown Chickamauga!

A beautiful bookstore in Chickamauga. I would highly recommend stopping in, even if it takes you out of your way. While small, has a great variety of books and records. Has awesome treats, (cake pops, tea, hot cocoa, etc) and fulfills every possible small town bookstore aesthetic.

Our friend recommended this cute coffe shop/bookstore/record store to us and I can't stop wanting to go 😅 It's quiet and the owners are such lovely ladies. To be honest Stories & Songs is kind of like my favorite place now to get some peace of mind 💖

if you haven't visited stories & songs yet, you are missing out!! i live farther away, so im only able to visit for record store day (& black friday), and for the past few times my dad has had to go and get the records for me. but, everytime, we have such an amazing experience! the prices are fair, they carry so many types of genres of music & books, and it's such a cozy place to be at. every record store day is low stress with the way they control & set everything up. the owners are always so sweet and so helpful - and even offered my dad a free coffee last year for driving me!! overall, stories & songs is such an amazing place, so make sure you check them out!! thank y'all for being so sweet and responsive!! 🫶

A MUST DO if you're in Chickamauga during their hours. They are the most special thing in this town and help support other local businesses, local events, and host live local bands constantly. They swing way above their weight when it comes to service. The workers and the kindest people and keep a solid selection of books and great selection of vinyls.
