best record shop in OC. I recently acquired a cheap turntable which I restored, so in finding a few record shops, this was by far the best one I went to I went in looking for vinyl albums, but they have tape and CD too. Everything was very well organized and cared for, and sorted by genre (everything from jazz to classical. rock, pop, hip-hop, even comedy records), then name, then used or new, with overstock on the bottom. The new ones were fairly priced, and they didn't have the one I was considering as a possible gift, but offered to order it. I declined and continued to browse, but it's nice that they do that. I grabbed two used albums. One was from the main collection in the front, and one was $5 from one of the $5 crates in the back (they have $1 too!) The main one was well packaged with a plastic cover, and what seems like a new sleeve (I didn't ask, but if it's not new, it's like-new condition). The jacket was weathered, simply because of age, but the record itself is incredible condition. It's the flattest record I own, and very clean. I took a felt brush to it anyway my first play, but I'm not sure I needed to. It was already very clean The $5 one was a pretty good find. Very good album that I would buy anyway, but I was on a budget and couldn't get two full priced albums, so this one for $5 was a steal. The catch is that the $5 or $1 albums may have some things possibly missing, or scratches, but nothing so deep it's jarring or broken. Just the normal cracks and pops one might expect (again though, the one from the front was perfectly clean) Hoping to go back. you won't be disappointed! Safe cozy vibe too
Great vinyl shop for collectors. Good selection but a little over priced. Then again most good vinyl is expensive now n days.
It has great music when browsing and s great vibe overall. Great selection and woulf recommend stopping in.
Seemingly nice store until I saw the protest signs in the front window. I guess it’s hip and cool to some, but not everyone as a customer. They had all the usual current day artists. Selection was average at best. Walked in and walked out in 5 minutes. Nothing there for me.
Great store for vinyl and Everything in between. And they have a sign in front that indicates that they are not fond of racists and fascists.
