Well I've been to this exact store several times and these men in my opinion were awful rude to me and one time I went in I had LPs that they couldn't look at because their record guy wasn't in and that was basically that was it and left me standing there and I felt just not welcome and there were not many people in the store at the time I also remember I went in another time and had with me top of the line audio equipment and once again I felt looked over because there audio man wasn't in Well when are these men going to be I , shouldn't they have a person that could at least give me anything other then what I have been receiving from these people no nice looking equipment I think I'll give the guy that wasn't in a call don't really want this equipment to pass us by nope and I had some really nice stuff so anyways I don't believe I'll ever get back there when I get treated much better anywhere else
Interesting place for vintage audio equipment as well as cd's, vinyl & other memorabilia. Stop by & have fun.
I go to fill a cd book of music I loved during highschool to bump when I ride around. The store is completely empty I was walking around for 10 minutes and had my Ferret with me who is cleaner and has better home training then the Little Scruffy looking Man Bun who told me to leave because they don't allow pets. Cool I get it, but it's very short sighted and a stupid business practice when u have no customers, he clearly wasn't the owner and he could care less if the place made a profit.
Firs time visiting today, traveled 65 miles based on inventory I found on the website. Getting back into my audio from the 70's and wanted a reasonable priced CD player to see if my amps and pre-amp setup was good enough. Purchased a CD player based on my research, it is from the 90's. Was explained in detail how to resolve any issues, given contact info if I ran into an issue. Traveled back home, worked flawlessly on some Goodwill purchased CDs. Unit has a much better sound than the first CD player I purchased in the mid 80s. I have realistic expectations on this unit based on the age, but gets me back in the hobby while I search for a new unit. A side note, an incident took place while I was there with a customer trying to sell some CDs, a member of the customer's group used a very racial word/term, no ambiguity of the meaning. The management immediately tossed the person out. Kudos to the management, This is how you start to stop racism. Sound Exchange is a very safe space to be in and is living what music is meant to be! I'll make that trip again to get my next piece of equipment, a tuner!
Awesome store! Visited from New Hampshire today. Found some great music for great prices! Loved the huge selection of classic rock. Staff friendly and welcoming. Thanks for a great experience! See you again soon!
