This is the best play to find good quality curated collection of vinyl. The staff knows their stuff and provides a welcoming atmosphere. Amazing place!

Great little record store downtown El Paso!! I was pleased to find a good selection of preowned rock, punk and metal albums, as well as some great classic soul titles. My haul was M.O.D. ‘U.S.A. For M.O.D.’, Zakk Sabbath ‘Forever Doomed’, Sunny & The Sunliners ‘Adelante’, The Dramatics ‘In The Rain’ 45rpm single). The guy working there named Able was super helpful finding the last two classics and shipped my selections back home to Arlington. Stoked to stop by here!! Definitely a must visit for vinyl enthusiasts when in El Paso.

I feel very lucky to be the 100th reviewer for what is hands down an El Paso treasure. Sound Decay has a fine collection of what you may be looking for and an even greater collection that may expand the boundaries of your musical palate. Since I’ve been coming here, I’ve found so many great records I wouldn’t have found anywhere else in town and shared many great conversations with both brothers who are very kind and genuinely excited to share their love of music with you. This place is a gem.

I am a lover of all the record stores in El Paso, but the local charm and great service of Sound Decay puts it at the top of the list. Great selection of LPs; I never seem to leave without making a purchase. Danny, the owner, is always attentive and is spinning great music. They have made me a regular customer, and I will be happy to continually supporting them!

Sound Decay is a great spot all around. Awesome selection, fair prices, and super friendly, knowledgeable staff. Danny always goes out of his way to help and foster a strong sense of community. They’ve hosted events like the book reading for Chuco Punk, and have even contributed to the exhibit at the El Paso Museum of History. It’s more than a record store, it’s a local cultural hub. Always a good time stopping by.
