One of the best kept secrets of the area, we are very lucky to have such an amazing record store! The owner is very friendly and knowledgeable and I always find a treasure or two to add to my collection. I could easily spend an entire day in Solar Mountain and still find something I missed the last time.

Bart Lay has created his own little vinyl Shangri-la, complete with lively verbal interaction on the merits of anything music-related (or not ;) ) Don't let the deceptively low-key facade deter you! Hard to find musical treasures are here just waiting to be pulled out of their sleeves and slapped back down on your turntable!

By far West Virginia's best kept secret when it comes to record stores. You'd never know it was there if you weren't looking for it. It's an oasis of all kinds of great records. Great reasonable prices and Bart the owner really loves what he does and tries to help you out. I love this place.
