If you are into punk rock you would dig this place. This is a specialty store catering to punk rock, not a general used music store that covers all genres. Very cool vibe and the guy behind the counter was friendly. If you are on your way to the space needle, swing by and check this place out.
Popped in to confirm their hours (they’re right!), and met some of the loveliest people I’ve run into in Seattle. Some worked there, some didn’t 😆 whatever, it’s got a great vibe and seems like a really cool place to shop and patronize. I’ve saved it in my Want To Go list, and will be back, and I’m absolutely certain I’ll run into more lovely people then 🤗
Visited from Maryland and this place was an absolute joy to discover by accident! Owner was friendly and sociable and I ended up leaving with one of my favorite records. If I wasn’t with friends I could’ve stayed for hours and talked music. Time to book my next flight to Seattle 😉
This is one of the most authentic havens of music and history that you will find, and an integral part of the heart of Belltown. Walking inside is like walking into a sanctum, and the humans who run it are exactly the experts you've been looking for. Pro-tip: they are also technically a pawn shop, but they're pretty selective so, be prepared to be turned away if you aren't bringing your A Game.
Hearing the guy behind the counters story about pre 1988 and 1989 hardcore was pretty awesome. He was very friendly and didn’t hold back with how he felt about a lot of things. Really great store and the guy had a ton of knowledge. 100% recommendation Crust/Hardcore/Oi!/Street Punk whatever you want, he’ll have. Only bummer, all VHS are $1 or more.
