Silver Platters - Sodo

Checked this place out of recommendation cause I started collecting some CD's again. The selection of CD's is fairly huge, and honestly a lot of it is fairly priced. Most stuff I looked at new was about 10-11 dollars, and they had tons of used CD's for less than that. Some more deluxe things and rare things were higher as expected, but nothing that felt made me think of going on eBay instead. They have a hefty vinyl selection too and the prices on them were about what you'd expect to get anywhere else. Stuff ranged from about 20 dollars to 50 depending on what you wanted. Definitely not overpriced by any means. Staff also was extremely nice. There was a bit of people walking around re-stocking and putting things away but they never bothered me or asked me constantly if I needed help. I'll definitely hit up this place again to build up my CD collection.

This is an amazing store and they have a HUGE used and new dvd section! Found so many great used DVDs, many were only $4-5 each and appear to be in really good condition. The DVDs were all organized alphabetically and almost everything was in order, I was really impressed. I am so happy with the selection, will definitely be back! Staff were all very friendly and nice too!

Great store for used media, but I wouldnt sell your vinyl records to them. Recently sold 20 odds and ends, with one or two interesting pieces and got $45 for the lot. They're selling just one record for $49 right now, so I reckon I got about 10% retail value in store credit. Not a good deal, which probably explains why their record section is a bit dated.

This is an older store... not much modern/recent music. I didnt care for how it was organized.. kind of hard to follow. I will say that they have a great amount of cd's and records.. just all really old stuff. Great if youre into the vintage or older music.

I love this place !!!! It’s my favorite record store in Seattle. I’m always stopping by. By far the best selection. Not only do they have tons of records. Their selection of DVDs, CD’s , books is HUGE. You could spend hours in here looking at everything. I wish they had stickers & pins of the shop. I would totally buy some ! Great $1 selection as well. Found some good stuff!
