Do NOT leave Liz City without stopping here. Really cool vibe with a selection to devour! Classic audio, vinyl, prints and posters as well as classic shirts!! Loved it!
Super cool shop. Huge selection of vinyl records and record players. The owner Kevin is super cool too. He always takes the time to help me out with questions I have about anything!
Stopped by this shop recently and had one of the most uncomfortable experiences I’ve had in a store. While browsing, I witnessed the owner publicly snap at a brand-new employee in front of customers. He even said out loud “she’s only been here two days” before telling her to leave. From what I saw, the employee was actually doing her job , greeting us when we came in, working behind the counter, and chatting with another customer about music (which in a record store should be normal). Apparently, the guy had been making her uncomfortable and she even told her boss she didn’t know him. Instead of stepping in or handling it professionally, the boss chose to fire her right there in front of us Unprofessional, and the whole store felt hostile. If this is how management treats their staff, I wouldn’t recommend shopping here.
This shop is a gem, thanks to the passion and personality that Kevin and Zoe bring to it. Their eclectic taste in music shines through the entire experience. While browsing, I overheard Zoe introducing Kevin to a new artist—it was genuinely refreshing to hear such an authentic, cross-generational exchange about music. The store itself is beautifully laid out: clean, organized, and easy to navigate. The selection is outstanding, featuring everything from well-known releases to obscure finds across nearly every genre. Beyond the records, they offer a full range of gear—turntables, speakers, preamps, receivers—as well as posters, guitar strings, 45 adapters, and stickers. It’s the kind of comprehensive music hub that Elizabeth City has long needed, and it speaks to audiophiles both young and old. Equally impressive is their respect for others in the vinyl community. Kevin speaking so highly of his peers added a real sense of connection to the overall vibe This store isn't just a place to shop—it's an experience. One that I highly recommended.
Great little album store. Fairly good selection, even seeing a few albums I haven't seen in years. Looks to be a great place to pick up a record player as well. There are lots of cool posters on the walls. The owner was super nice and informative. If you are looking for some new vinyl for your collection, check them out.
