Scooter’s Records is a record lovers happy place. You’ll be ‘hard pressed’ to find a person more knowledgeable & friendly to help you find the vinyl you’re looking for. It’s a place you should check out to add to OR start your collection. Nostalgic, OG record shop vibe & an asset to Starkville & the GTA.
I stumbled upon this hidden gem of a record store, and it's an absolute delight! The cozy, locally owned spot has a charming environment that takes you on a journey down memory lane. The collection is out of this world, offering a nostalgic trip through music history. It's not just a store; it's a wonderful place to hang out. Highly recommend for music lovers seeking a unique experience!"
Best record shop in MS, in my opinion. Great prices and selection, the deals on posters are absolutely killer. Really nice vibe and awesome owner. Would highly recommend to anyone who likes music.
Good, varied collection of used albums to sort through. Light on used Metal. Prices are very fair and competitive--im line with the likes of Discog (if not better). Plus, it gives one an encouraging feeling to support one's local record shop. So I will definitely be a repeat customer here!
First off, all the used records I bought play just fine on my turntable. Bought more records than I normally would, and I still had money for Stromboli’s and gas back to Columbus. I had my toddler with me and that didn’t seem to bother anyone (Waylon album was being played while we were there and that’s foot tapping music for him. I’m not encouraging people to bring the little league team, but know it’s not “get your kid outta here”)The owner is a real nice guy. Other than pawn shops, this is the only place I know of for vinyl in Golden Triangle. I think there is more than just records, but I didn’t want to press my luck with my son. Anyway, found an album I’ve been looking for, customer service is good, records are affordable for high schoolers and records aren’t scratched up.
