Schoolkids Records, Raleigh

Nice small record store. A good mix of new and used. Nice place to find bargain vinyl. I picked up a couple of CDs that were a nice find.

I love record stores. Schoolkids is a great one, with both new and used music. They'll even order something for you if they don't have it stock (new things). A great store!!

I really enjoy coming to this shop. The clerk, Amber, was incredibly helpful! I brought in a record I had bought from them that was skipping (without a receipt, fully expecting to be told that this is just part of buying used records). Instead, Amber was friendly, understanding, and even helped me fix the issue on the spot. I also learned that their return policy is very generous—if the problem had continued, I could’ve exchanged the record without any hassle. I've sold records to them, as well, and found the entire process fair and easy. I couldn’t recommend this place more and will definitely be coming back!

really cool place. I’ve been looking over five years for a pierce the veil vinyl since the record label they are signed to does not produce many/are always sold out online. well, I found one yesterday! it was the last one and right at the front of the section I had been looking in. got it for a great price too. really nice staff, great music, TONS of selection. I will definitely be coming back soon!

Great store & wonderful hosts for a record signing I attended. They put a fully stocked rack of band’s records so that you had an item for the band to sign. Lots of gems here! Prices were great in comparison to other local area record stores.
