Salty Dog Records has stores in Venice and Sarasota. They have a variety of music plus music memorabilia. I was looking for a get records to cheer up a buddy dealing with a new cancer diagnosis and the Salty Dog hit the spot! I spoke with the owner who is very personable. Salty Dog has a variety of music at a variety of price points. I spent $19, $4.99 and $1 for some of these in the picture. I was happy with my purchase and they even had cool post cards, a tailored version of the Springsteen Asbury Park album cover! When in Sarasota or Venice, stop into the Salty Dog for a musical trip down memory lane!!

Pretty good selection, decent prices, owner was friendly and inviting. Watched her order new records for a customer and help a customer with his needle issue with his record player. Will swing by again when we are in town for the beach!

Great place, great prices to add to your record collection. Good selection. They also have rock pins, stickers and patches. Punks not Dead.
