The younger of the two gentlemen, I believe he's the owners son is unbelievably rude. My wife and I have been there twice. The first time there was one other customer shopping and the second time the shop was empty. Both visits this guy couldn't be bothered to greet us or even say hello when we walked in. With record stores in both Stuart and PSL with much friendlier staff they folks surely won't be getting any of our business.
Nice to see an "old school" style record store. A little pricey, but some good finds if you look hard enough. Staff seemed friendly. Clean and organized operation ( maybe it'll get a little gritty over time...🤙🏽) Glad to see the popularity of vinyl.
I have been buying here since they opened and this is one of my favorite places to visit. I spend a great deal of time listening to records and it’s never a problem. And I personally have bought many records that the grading was lower than it actually was. Not only that, their pricing I cannot complain about. Many MANY times I’ve bought vinyl that was priced way below its actual value. For me that’s amazing since I keep and use what I buy. Highly recommended this record store if not because of what I’ve previously stated but because the entire staff is super polite and welcoming. Customer service is always on point! If anyone says otherwise, they must have had a bad day because I ship here pretty often. 5 Stars across the board!
Cool shop. Bella was really nice. I brought in some 45’s to trade but those aren’t really a hot commodity so I got turned down plus my 45’s were some obscure honky tonks. But that’s good to know for anyone needing to know. They do buy used records. I do sort of wish they had a larger classical section but that’s expected, not everyone likes classical music but they do have an extensive jazz and blues section if you’re into that. Again, really cool place and the Bella was a great person to check out with. PS - I got 3 records for 22 so there are reasonable prices. New records are obviously more expensive but that’s a given.
Fun shop! Hadn’t been back since they’d moved to the new location. More space and lots of fun tangential items to browse in addition to the LPs (tapes, CDs, shirts, record-adjacent tchotchkes). They’ve got a listening station, which for me is key to any record store shopping experience. Decent stock, though I wish the ration of used-to-new was weighted a little heavier on the used end of the spectrum. Fair prices and enough bargain bins to make the digging experience fun! Walked away with a few cool items in excited to get back to my turntable at home.
