Enter at your own risk! The place is crawling with fleas and smells like cat feces. My daughter barely stepped inside and was immediately covered in fleas. We had to bug bomb her clothes and car.
Instantly smelled ammonia from the cat. Yeah, cat in the store. Cool shop, and the cashier (owner?) was nice enough, but the smell was awful, and the shop was a bit disheveled. Also, as I looked through a grocery bag of CDs on the ground for 5 min, i was told to check the back wall where the CDs were in alphabetical order. I went back there, and noticed my legs were itchy… bc they were covered in small, black bugs. Not ants, or mosquitos, or no-see-ems… not sure what, but gross. Found the CD i wanted, paid him a dollar less than what he asked, and got outta there. I hate to talk bad about a local shop, but I also feel that people should know what they’re getting into when they walk into this place.
The owner Anthony is a good dude! He works with his customers to find them rare hard to find items. The store is like a treasure hunt with lots of gems.. you just have to take the time to look!
Came in just to look around and came out with three very special records and a true knowledgeable friend . Definitely if you are in the area looking for hidden gems or new vibes stop by. Will definitely be back!
The owner itself I believe the name is Anthony or I may be wrong, does this intimidation by for selling the client like me. I was trying to buy one album and he said he made a mistake for the price but he's going to give me that price. But since it's a small amount, he said if i can buy another one coz i will be paying by card, so i did. then he intentionally charge me a higher price. I asked him how much is the total since he didn't give me a receipt but through email and told me it's $29 plus. He charged me for the other record of $19 instead of $16. So I showed him the price. I don't know if he really wants to trick me if i didn't ask for the total price. Of course he apologized and returned a $3 cash for me. My point here is that he should take care of the customer, not deceiving them. Also he'd rather clean his store... it smells and I'm just tolerating it.
