Website says open till 6 but was closed at 5:08, either something came up or doesn't need the business enough

Closed an hour early for no apparent reason, I was forced to leave empty handed. Shame.

Definitely worth checking out if you're in the big bend area. Mike has a passion for music and offers a large selection of tapes, cds, vinyl. It's a real treat to go in when I'm in town especially since there is not another music store like this anywhere close.

The man running the shop is very kind. The shop is very clean, and very well organized. I was looking for a Joni Mitchell record, but didn't find it. I left after I couldn't find it, and was a block away when I heard the owner yelling after me that he found one. The record was in near-perfect condition, with just the dust jacket being damaged. Most of the low-rating reviews are complaining about the pricing of the records, but I want to point out that this is a shop out in the middle of nowhere and he has to keep the doors open somehow. I think that, at the quality of the records, with the distance he is from any other record store, and with the prices being driven up by rent+covid, this is a perfectly fine store. I would recommend that you stop here and buy a record if you can on your drive out to Big Bend!

Teenage daughter wanted old Record player and some vinyl to play. She used her own money to purchase one from here and there are some minor issues with the record player more cosmetic the mechanical and he took his time to make sure they were fixed and if she had any issues for her to bring it back and even gave her a great deal and cut the price for Her. I would highly recommend business here it's a rarity to find someone who actually cares about their customers.
