Rick’s Record Shack

This is a great record shop. There are tons of used records and a smaller selection of new ones plus they have refurbished turntables for sale. Rick will also buy used records as long as they're in good condition. This is my go to shop.

My daughter discovered this place online and we went there for the first time the other day. Rick was quick to welcome us and was engaging and friendly. We ended up buying cds, a record player and some records, all fairly priced. We went again today and was greeted by an employee who is just as welcoming. She directed me to the new arrival stand where I found some great stuff! Again, we left with records and cds. The music selection here is vast, the prices are fair and the people who run it are FABULOUS. We've all been places where the staff is aloof or snotty making it very awkward, not here. We look forward to making this a regular spot for us.

What a great shop! My teen is into records now, go figure, and this is his favorite record shop. I went with him today, and met the owner. He was friendly, helpful, and just cool. It's a very relaxed environment, with tons of records, CD's, cassettes, memorabilia, and t-shirts available. If you're into nostalgia, you've got to stop by and check it out.

The best record shopping experience in Buffalo for us! My wife and I went to five record shops in a day and this place was our favorite by a mile! First of all, the owner was incredibly nice and actually interacted with us when we were there. He knew what he had so we didn't have to dig if he knew he didn't have it, but he also HELPED us find some great vintage vinyl. Bought a lot of records from him and he even made a package deal with us! The closet with all of the old equipment was awesome, too! Just wish I lived closer! If I'm ever in the area again, we will be stopping by for sure!

I am so happy I finally was able to stop in! I am so proud and happy for my neighbor and good friend Rick Rhodes on his new store with his beautiful wife! Your excitement and enthusiasm about what you are doing and what you have done so far is just heartwarming! It's obvious you love what you do and you're sharing it with your community! Can you tell I love vinyl!? :-) I'm looking forward to stopping in again and enjoying all that your sister has to offer!
