I will say as a business owner myself I bringing in a crate of records that is well worth over $100 that were looked at graded and cleaned, and every item was put in sleeves and looked up through dish hog to only have them offer me $50 and then tell me for a counter offer is very low I understand that you have to make money as well as I do both both parties should walk away happy not offering somebody basically less than a dollar a record knowing very well they’re going to sell it more than five dollars dealing
SO GRATEFUL for the above-and-beyond service at the Elmwood Revolver! I reached out to the store online inquiring about my specific needs for a record crate that would fit oversized deluxe box sets. They replied despite it being after closing hours and said to drop by the next day after work. I arrived with one of the box sets and a tape measure in hand and we tested their standard crates with no luck. But the gentleman took the extra time to phone Phil (the owner) and went digging in the back where he found two identical antique crates which showed promise. The boards were loose but he was so helpful he found a hammer and tightened up the nails to make the crate more secure. It was exactly what I needed! I am so grateful for the extra time, attention, patience, and effort Revolver showed me that day. Now I can showcase all 95 discs of Brian Eno's full-length albums in style! THANK YOU!
Great selection. I was really happy to find some of my favorite bands here. I can’t always find vinyls like this back home in Ohio so I took my time here and would love to come back someday if I ever find myself in Buffalo again.
We were on a road trip that had us stopping in Buffalo on a Monday. Sadly, every other record store in the vicinity was closed. But we were lucky to have this awesome spot open. Great selection, I even found a couple of records I didn't know that I needed! Friendly staff, well-organized space, and a fun place to browse. It's definitely a place to stop if you are a vinyl enthusiast.
Nothing like a Saturday stroll on Hertel Ave and stopping at Revolver for great records and finds. I wish the pricing was a little more competitive but I still enjoy the store and the staff. If I can recommend anything it’s to visit every little shop on that strip.
