Resident Vinyl

I ordered the Olivia Rodrigo Tiny Desk vinyl from Resident Vinyl on 12/7. I received an email that confirmed my order and provided a delivery window. The email took me to Shopify to track the delivery. Shopify never updated with any details. Today, on the last day of my delivery window, I reached out to ask about the status. The immediate response was an email requesting payment, although I had provided payment at the time of the order, hence the confirmation email. After several emails back and forth asking how this happened and when i could expect to receive this, and after providing another form of payment (receiving another confirmation again), they decided to just cancel the order. Fine. I called my local record store who is holding it for me and will have it today. But the cavalier and dismissive attitude, combined with the complete lack of accountability or even simple apology for this is absolutely ridiculous. Shop literally anywhere else.

I was really looking forward to this event, but unfortunately it felt disorganized. The shop hosted a listening party for an album release and were supposed to give out posters and wristbands to everyone who RSVP’d. The event started at 8 p.m., but they ran out of posters and wristbands nearly 8:05pm mind you, we were told to RSVP beforehand to secure our spot. Once the event started, they didn’t even check our RSVPs. I hope future events are better managed, because the concept was great!

Ordered 2 albums online. Came to NM right away. Zero issues. I really appreciate the stickers they included! Definitely will try to order more in the future.

Good store within Contra Coffee, a solid coffee shop. They had a small but nice selection of mostly new vinyl with good prices! They also had some solid tapes for sale and some fun pins too. Check it out if you’re in the Orange Circle.
