Relapse Records

That was a religious experience. I'd been waiting to go because of the stories about Val and the shop. I knew I needed to come correct. I finally had 3 good asks. And I'm glad I went! Val and I spent over an hour talking as he found my requests and I flipped through giant stacks of 45s. He even sent me home with a few documentaries on the people I'd come asking about. He told me most people just email or call and he doesn't get a lot of people who actually come to the store but if you want a great time (and you have good taste) definitely go!

Hello Val, it's been 20 years since I've seen Sharon Jean Jones, around 22 years ago I saved her from cancer have you heard from her sense she was my life but things changed I miss all the priceless records and memorabilia, if you hear from her pass my wishes to her thank you ROC !

Amazing record shop! People like Sydney down there (who call the Philly streets dirty and complain about parking *lol*) certainly should not come here. Only come if you know what you want, because this store is NOT for hobbyists or novice collectors. Val is an oracle of music history and this space is brimming with any rare vinyl that you could imagine. This is the best collection in the world and an honor to behold. Thank you!!

Quite an experience however not open to the public. Val is a one of a kind record extraordinaire and knows too much about 45s and all vinyl. Very happy to know a place like this exists.

I would give it 0 stars if possible. We drove here from from an hour and a half away thinking they would be a record store. We called since we couldn't even find the place at all on the dirty streets. Had to pay 5.25 for parking but was turned down on the phone to even be allowed inside. Covid is over and they should allow people to browse their vinyls for wants. How am I supposed to know which vinyl they have and that I want? They were very rude on the phone and did not want customers. You should be closed with customer service like that! Do not waste your time coming here. Go elsewhere!
