What a great shop and a fantastic things that Biff and his wife are doing for the community. Great selection of vinyl both new and used. Easy to determine what is repressed and what is used. Fun to browse and the owners and staff are always helpful and friendly. For fathers day my two sons went in the shop 17 and 12 and spoke with Biff, told him that they were looking for a piece of vinyl that there Dad probably did not have. Biff helped them make a great choice and I couldn't have been happier with the Kids album the kids came home with, along with a couple bars of wax and hat from the local surf shop. Check this place out and support local!
Cool shop. Nice guy working behind the counter - I’m assuming the owner. I love the printed tidbits placed in the used vinyl sleeves. It’s a nice touch. Picked up an Elvis gospel album to learn it was his first Grammy win. Excited to give it a listen.
Awesome Place. Everything in one spot. Can't do better than this place for shopping. However if you are looking to sell your Vinyl , its probably going to be a low ball and offensive offer. Kid behind the counter is not knowledgeable. Rock On.
Totally cool people, dialed my 12 string . I highly recommend them for all your music needs . The locals choice!! If there were 10 stars ⭐️ 10 would be my review
We moved to San Clemente a couple of months ago, and I was hoping to get my son (13 yrs) settled and connected in our new town. He had already been playing guitar for a while, but starting somewhere new can be intimidating. As soon as we walked into Power Plant, we met Sarah, who was warm, kind, and genuinely interested in hearing our story. I told her my son was hesitant to jump into a new place, and she immediately put him at ease. Biff invited my son to just play with him for a bit—no pressure, no expectations. Within half an hour, he was completely hooked. He didn’t want to leave. From there, it only got better. He was invited to join a band, which thrilled him, and in just one month, he’s already making connections with other kids, feeling confident, and growing as a musician in ways I didn’t expect so quickly. My son has taken guitar lessons at several other places over the years, and Power Plant is hands down the best experience he’s ever had. The community, the teachers, the energy—everything is amazing! We are so grateful to have found this place.
