I don’t even know where to start with this review I ordered a cassette tape from them back on December 11th 2025 waited and waited for an update on my order a week goes by no update so I email them asking for an update on my order no response from them so I wait another week and do the same thing no response so I go on Facebook and send them a message and they say they will send my info over and have them look into the issue and guess what NO RESPONSE at all after that so I send another email on January 5th and still no response how hard is it to send a reply with any sort of info on my order company is an absolute joke customer service has to be at the bottom of their list for sure if I could give them no stars I would absolutely horrible experience
Stopped in while charging my car and found exactly what I was looking for, but was told I couldn’t buy it because it was near the floor and might pose a trip hazard. I wasn’t allowed to pick it up or even look at it. I was told I could come back on a weekday instead, but I live and work out of town. I’ve never encountered a retail situation where merchandise on the sales floor can’t be purchased. Bizarre and frustrating.
In town visiting and just purchased a record player a few weeks ago so I was excited to explore their selection. I was barely inside the store when the lady (assuming the owner) shouted for me to watch my child (who was strapped in the stroller because there are too many fragile items. So I responded that I will leave and turned around. She proceeded to follow me and tell me thats not what she meant. There were a couple of other customers that offered to watch my child IN THE STROLLER while I shopped. I told the owner that she assumed my child was about to be wild and that she just lost a sale because of her antics. She told me a child hasn't been in their store in 15 years...huh?!?! I was so confused. She followed me all the way outside trying to make excuses. Other customers left and came and found me and told me she didn't need to be rude to me like that. Not sure if she is racist or just plain crazy but have travelled all around the world and couldn't believe a small business owner acted in such a way. Now that I have seen other reviews it seems like I'm not alone.
My daughter is a film and music buff and couldn't get enough of this place, which was such a unique find in downtown Palm Springs. The owner was friendly, helpful, and enthusiastic. My daughter will definitely be doing some more shopping in their online store!
My wife and I walked into the store this past Saturday. We were barely a few feet in the store. At the very entrance of the store. When a woman, who seemed to be the shop owner started yelling at my wife. She was yelling at her to put her cup down on the table. We were each holding a drink, she wasn’t yelling at me, but she was yelling at my wife, who wasn’t even clocking that this lady was yelling at her. She was just taking the store in. Then suddenly everyone in the store is looking at my wife as she realizes this lady is yelling at her. The lady is yelling that there’s a sign on the table to put your cups down before coming in. Well, first of all, we can’t see the sign because there’s cups on top of it, covering the sign. Secondly, we haven’t even walked past the table of cups/sign. We are a mere couple feet inside the store. And this lady / shop owner is yelling at my wife who happens to be the only person of color in the store. Everyone is looking at my wife because this shop owner can’t talk like a normal adult. We’re not children. We’re upper 30’s, lower 40’s. We don’t look like children. I’m not saying this lady / shop owner is racist, but it definitely came off that way as she was yelling at my wife, the black woman, and not me, the white man. Again we were just steps inside the store, still in front of the table of cups, taking the store in. My wife left crying, and it was her birthday of all days. Skip this store, especially if you’re a person of color and don’t want to be singled out. Even if the race thing was a “coincidence”, we’re adults, not screaming children, who had barely stepped inside your store, and cannot see your sign covered in cups. Oh yeah, this lady / shop owner isn’t across the room, she’s probably 8 feet away from us. No excuse for behaving like this. WILL NEVER RETURN.
